Navigating

  • Scroll wheel: zoom
  • MMB: rotate
  • Shift-MMB: pan
  • Shift-S: cursor / origin pie menu
  • Shift-C: returns cursor to center

Function Keys

View

  • Numpad 0: camera view

Select

Transform

  • G/S/R: translate ("grab"); scale; rotate
    • G/S/R then X/Y/Z: constrain transformation to selected axis
    • G/S/R then Shift-X/Y/Z: constrain transformation to other two axes (plane)
    • G/S/R then X/Y/Z twice: constrain transformation to selected axis in alternate transform space ("local" is default)
    • Alt-G/S/R: reset transformation
  • Ctrl-A: apply transforms
  • N (Item tab): transform properties panel

Modes

  • Tab: mode pie menu

Object

  • Shift-A: add
  • Shift-D: duplicate selected object(s)
    • Alt-D: duplicate selected object(s) with linked data
  • Ctrl-P: make Active object the parent of all other selected objects
  • Alt-P: remove selected child from its parent
  • M: move object to collection
  • X: delete
  • Ctrl-#: subdivide # times

Edit

  • E: extrude
  • I: inset
  • Ctrl-B: bevel (auto applied)
  • Ctrl-R: loop cut
  • G,G: vertex/edge slide
  • K: knife (select vertices, hit Enter when done)
  • F: fill face (or create edge from selected vertices)
  • M: merge
  • Shift-N: recalculate normals
  • Ctrl-Shift-N: flip normals
