Penny looks a lot like Sarah, so we need to play up the attraction there, that goes both ways. It makes Olly uncomfortable, of course.

There needs to be a story arc end, or connector episode that uses Gemma's Invisible Man. Possibly the connector episode between Arc 1 and Arc 2 in Season 1.

Rigg holds a significant grudge against Olly, who is in his son's former position. He's still not recovered completely from the incident, and has been spending time in "therapy" with Dr. Nichols, although the therapy consists more of talking over a drink.

There will eventually be a bit of a romantic spark between Rigg and Nichols, despite the fact that both of them are married.

Eventually it will come to light that the crew of the Intrepid is ridiculously heroic. Finn will admit this is because of their covert mission, which the other two IPV's don't have (yet).

When the humans find out about the Intrepid's true mission, that's when hostility will really break out, culminating in the humans taking the IPV Venture, which is more heavily armored and armed than any of the previous IPVs.

At some point prior to that, the Bunraku will be destroyed likely in a joint mission with the Intrepid so Nichols has to witness it. We may also lose a major/recurring character at this point. This will lead to an actual affair between Rigg and Nichols. Clay: Figure out a way to use Gemma's Face Another Day in the episode.

It will eventually be revealed that the Bunraku was sabotaged. Eventually the saboteur will be revealed to be on the Intrepid. Who is it?? Too easy if it's Rigg.
